Orla Farrell

Orla has had a passion for the beauty industry since her teens as she has previously lived in London, New York & Ireland. Orla began forging her love of the beauty industry to begin building a clientele that is based on feeling accommodated and understood as soon as you sit in her chair.

 

Orla started hair when she was just 16 years old and apprenticed with Catherine Nash who is a successful salon owner and educator in Ireland. At 19, Orla attend ICH, where she graduated with all honours, and received her qualification to be a fully certified hairdresser. Her parents and her 3 siblings made the move to Regina in 2013 from Ireland. She started her work at Shear Escape in 2013. After almost 6 years there, she was so grateful for the experience she had at Shear Escape and learned and crafted her skills to perfection. She then progressed to opening her very own salon in early 2019, Eau Salon.

Additionally, Orla has worked as leads at several fashion weeks as well as leading them. She has been featured in magazines in various Vogues globally and loves not just traveling for work but also sharing that knowledge. She has cemented her place in Regina, as a Educator and Master Stylist now growing her Eau Salon Team. When Orla isn’t spending time behind the chair she is educating others or seeking education from the World’s best Hairstylists. She frequently educates many stylists around the city on  techniques, colour application, business growth, and anything hair related. She also has won various awards for colour & business, most recently Canadas Top Stylist with Redken.

 

Orla teaches her clients how to maintain their fresh locks no matter what budget they have. Orla believes continuous education is the key to success and firmly believes that there is always something more to learn. Her eagerness to learn blended with her experience in large cities along with high paced runways always leaves her wanting a challenge. Orla specializes in Buttery Blondes, Natural Lived-In Balayages, Gradient Ombres and Cosmic Colour Corrections.

 

Orla is constantly a positive energy and she is always looking to help others grow themselves, whether a client or fellow stylist. She loves making her clients feel special and looks forward to her time spent with getting to know the people in her chair. She loves making your trip to the salon a memorable one and loves when her clients feel at ease with her. Her creations are a juxtapose of new age techniques with old fashioned hard work, and that is something Orla is very proud of. Orla looks forward for all clients who visit her chair. ​
